Causes Of Jawline Acne Symptom

Many people are affected by acne. The typical places for acne breakouts are on the back, chest, neck and face. The cause for the breakouts is usually the same; an extensive amount of sebum is produced. Jawline acne symptom is a little different though.

Jawline acne symptom can be caused by several different factors. Hair, especially womens hair, can be a cause for acne breakouts on the jaw. Hair, even clean hair is oily. Longer hair lies against the face and the oils rub off onto the face. The oils then cause acne breakouts and make it harder to clear up pre-existing acne that was already there.

Our hands can also cause these symptoms. Many times our hands are propping our heads up by resting our jaws on them. Our hands have oils on them also. So, again oil hits our jaw and acne breakouts occur. Makeup can also be a culprit of jawline acne symptom.

Make-up tends to cake into the creases of our face and on the jawline. Pores are then clogged and acne breakouts occur. In order to keep from breaking out due to make-up you can wear hypoallergenic makeup or makeup that is designed for sensitive skin.

Another main cause of jaw acne is sweat. When sweat runs down our face it stops at the jawline for a bit before dripping off. The sweat has oils and toxins in itthat cause acne breakouts. In order to reduce your risk for acne breakouts from sweat, use a headband to keep the sweat from running down your face during vigorous activities. Then be sure to take the headband off and wash your face as soon as you are done with the activity.

Facial cleansing can also be a factor in jaw acne. Yes, facial cleansing. The jawline does not always get washed well. Often it is left out of the cleansing process because people try very hard not to get their shirts wet, so the jaw gets left out. Since the jawline does not get washed the pores clog up and acne appears.

In order to eliminate this from being a problem you can take your shirt off while washing your face or put a towel around you in order to keep your shirt dry while you wash your jaw and neck.
