Using a vinegar solution for baby acne can be good way of treating a baby's skin problem. Acne can cause problems for people of any age - everyone from babies to older adults. While acne is most common when kids hit puberty, at least five percent of babies suffer from baby acne.
Most baby's have this problem when they reach two weeks of age until they reach the age of six months old. In at least one percent of babies, though, it can occur after six months of age. Most parents notice baby acne on the forehead, chin, and cheeks of the baby. It looks like a red rash with little bumps. In some babies, those bumps may appear as whiteheads.

Be sure to use it sparsely at first, to determine if it hurts your baby's skin. Once you have determined that your baby can tolerate it, though, use it as much as you need to.
Remember that baby acne will go away on its own, and you should never try to treat it with remedies that were designed for teenagers or adults. Clean the baby's skin with a mild cleanser at least twice each day, but do not scrub any parts of the body, as that can cause further irritation to the skin. However as always talk to your doctor before using a vinegar solution for baby acne.
